you can see the realization in the doctor and martha’s eyes as they’re smiling and it dawns on them that Jack is going to become a giant face

i miss this side of Doctor Who, when a single line sent shockwaves through the fandom. there doesn’t always have to be months of build up

Nothing could ever top this, I don’t care what Moffat does in the future. This was the biggest plot twist ever. I’ll probably never recover from it.
